School Portraits
It’s time to get real.
Let’s take back school portraits, and let our kids’ personalities shine.
I can’t be the only one who hated nearly ALL of my school portraits.
Of course, it can’t be just because I was the most socially awkward kid on the planet in the early 90s, right?! Let’s be honest, while adorable, most school portraits leave a lot to be desired. Weird backgrounds, not-so-great light… can’t we do better??
Here’s how I can help. For schools of around 150 students or less, I come in, over a couple of days, and I take the time needed to get really, truly GOOD photos of your school’s kiddos, images that show who they really are, missing teeth, crazy hair, sweet smiles and all.
How it works
• I work with your school to determine whether we need one day or two to shoot, and when is best. Some schools may want to just do fall photos, some may choose to do spring as well.
• All portraits will be shot outdoors, in natural light. And, most importantly, they will be FUN!!! I’ll coax the best smiles and silly giggles from your kiddos, usually with a fart joke or a silly question. Sibling photos are definitely encouraged! Weather isn’t often a problem in Phoenix other than heat, but if we have to reschedule we certainly will.
• Families can choose to order prints, digital files, or a combination of both. Your school gets all of the images to use for promotion (and be sure to talk with me about how you can hire me make documentary images of your school for all your promotional needs!)
• Your school won’t have to deal with any of the hassle of collecting print orders, since the families do this all on their own, all online. Online galleries will be available two weeks after picture day, and will include 5-10 images of each child. Orders are placed online, and prints are delivered to their home, making things oh-so-easy for the school!
