Pretty portraits don’t have to be torture!
I LIVE for dreamy sunset deserts. I can’t get enough of the bright gauzy skies and the deepening blues and purples of sunset.
If you do a portrait session with me, odds are it will be an hour before sunset, and most likely somewhere out in the desert. I have been known to make my clients hike JUST a bit to get to the best spot, or to chase the best light.
I promise, it will be an adventure, and you and you kiddos will have FUN! Of course we’ll get some lovely posed photos perfect for the family Christmas card, but my favorite images from your session will be the in-between moments we’ll get along the way.
Be ready to dance and twirl and jump and run! It’s gonna be fun!
What to expect:
Once you let me know you’re interested, I’d love to hop on a call with you to get to know you a little better, and to make sure my style is a good fit for your vision. We’ll pick the perfect location from a long list of gorgeous spots around the valley, and make sure it’s just right for your family.
My clients often ask what they should wear. If you’d like do a deep dive and have me help you choose outfits, I’m happy to! You can also check out the handy Pinterest board I made for ideas and advice. I encourage comfort, especially shoes, as we tend to walk a bit for my sessions. Build around mom’s dress, and coordinate without being too matchy-matchy. Most importantly, wear clothes that look like YOU! You really don’t have to buy an entirely new wardrobe for this. I promise!
My Lifestyle Sessions are a whole lot of fun, tons of playing and being silly, and a little directed. I promise we won’t torture your kids to get the perfect smile with the perfect pose.
